Value Engineering

Whether you have a new building or are looking to reroof an existing building, you are making a large investment so it’s important that we take the time to discuss your project in-depth and learn all of your project details that most contractors don’t care about. Our value engineering team can take the details of your project and show you exactly how we can offer you solutions that can eliminate unnecessary products and expenses. It is not uncommon that we can save a building owner or General Contractor thousands of dollars on a project, and deliver a better, more sustainable roofing system.

Our value engineering team has a track record of delivering top performing results. Our most recent nationally award winning roofing project utilized Quik-Shield spray foam to eliminate the need for tapered boardstock and most flashing. This cost saving was used to fund additional photovoltaic panels for electrical production and helped the 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility achieve a near net-zero energy rating.

Arithane only uses Quik-Shield spray foam, manufactured by SWD Urethane. SWD Urethane is the only spray polyurethane roofing manufacturer in the state of Arizona.

In addition, when spray foam roofing systems are used, less material is needed over the life-span of a building. Maintained Quik-Shield spray foam roofing systems have a service life of more than 40 years and can be easily recoated, without the need for the tear-off of the foam.

In most cases, Quik-Shield can even be placed over the current problem roofing system without its removal. It fixes the problems, while reducing construction waste.

Comparing Systems- Construction Waste
*Construction waste for a 40,000 square foot roof over 30 years, assumes traditional tear-off at end of typical system lifespan
