Service Department Manager

OVERVIEW
Arithane Roofing is now hiring for immediate employment an experienced Service and Repair Manager to join our team. Here are the “basics” of the position:
1. Receive repair calls from new and existing customers
2. Go to the property to provide accurate takeoffs for estimation
3. Back in the office and write a proposal
4. Schedule and manage 2-3 service crews of 2-4 roofers
5. Turn in completed paperwork to accounting.

TYPICAL WEEK
• Maintain CRM (customer relationship management) system.
• Manage warranty claims.
• Call customers with roofs out of warranty.
• Create reports and proposals for customers.
• Discuss warranty and non-warranty claims with customer.
• Schedule crews.
• Research difficult leaks at jobsites to recommend repair methods.
• Manage small service inventory of materials and equipment.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
• Able to communicate and relate to general contractors, building owners and property managers.
• Understand SPF/BUR/Single Ply roofing systems and applications.
• Able to methodically research building leaks.
• Experience selling repair and maintenance solutions with profitability in mind.
• Software experience — MS Office, CRM, internet, email, etc.
• 3+ Experience managing multiple crews

REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial roofing market.
• Technical knowledge of low slope commercial roof system and applications.
• CRM experience, Microsoft Systems, etc.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Late model vehicle. Vehicle allowance is part of compensation package.
• Must be physically fit — may need to use ladder.
• This is a management level position where professionalism is expected at all times.

COMPENSATION

  • Health benefits, 401K, paid vacation.
  • Vehicle/gas allowance.
  • Salary ranges from 45k-65k DOE.
  • Quarterly commissions based upon profitability of service department.

Foam and Coatings Roofing Sales

OVERVIEW
Arithane Roofing is now hiring for immediate employment an experienced roofing salesman/estimator. Arithane is a national award winning applicator of spray foam and liquid applied coatings with over 45 years of company history to draw some sales opportunities from. Duties include but not limited to the following:

  1. Develop, contact and pursue new sales opportunities within serviceable territories.
  2. Develop new sales opportunities by contacting property managers, owner occupied commercial buildings, HOA’s and multifamily residential structures and General Contractors.
  3. You must be able to manage your own schedule and be a self-starter. Arithane is growing and expanding and we work in a very fast paced environment.
  4. Our desired production related sales opportunities include spray foam applications and coating over any surface. We have a strong service department that can facilitate service related sales you generate for any material type but only at a service level.
  5. You must be an excellent communicator. You must be able to effectively relay to all management personnel all details of projects with limited room for errors.

TYPICAL WEEK

  • Maintain CRM (customer relationship management) system.
  • Manage your own schedule with limited supervision. Management does not micromanage and will not set up your day to day schedule. Your success is solely based on sales volume/revenue and not the amount of time spent in an office.
  • Schedule pre construction, construction, post construction meetings with production management staff. You are encouraged to attend these meetings if schedule allows.
  • Accurately estimate projects, write and deliver proposals. Tools are provided to prepare accurate budgets and proposals. Assistance will be provided until you become comfortable with Arithane bidding process.

  • Proven experience in roofing sales.
  • Software experience — MS Office, CRM, internet, email, etc.
